She is one of the most important interpreters of international contemporary art. Fran Bull , an American painter and sculptress but also an American writer, after having ventured into photorealism, in the 1980s adhered to abstract neo-expressionism, becoming its absolute protagonist. His works are exhibited in one of the most important museums of modern and contemporary art in the world, the Moma in New York.

Even in Europe, in recent years, it has been the stage with prestigious exhibitions in public spaces at, for example, the Biennale of Venice (Armenia Pavilion), La Fabbrica del Vapore of the City of Milan and the Biennale of Arte Sacra of Menton. Below the artist tells some moments of his life.

“I remember sitting on a commuter train from Setauket, Long Island to New York. I was twenty years old, I was a person with many interests, I was living wondering what I would do with my life. As the omen flowed, I felt a great change in me. The gods of fate and decisions had got on that train and when I arrived in New York, I understood: I would have dedicated my life to art. After all, I grew up in New Jersey, I spent my Saturdays and summers at the Newark museum. We children, who took lessons, drew from nature and carried out our works on any medium. We entered competitions with animals and papier-mâché and with costumes inspired by the museum's exhibitions. At ten I imagined myself to be a "modern" artist and I emulated the art of Joseph Stella.
