It is one of the most appreciated protagonists of international contemporary art. Fran Bull, a New York artist but often also present in Europe, in over 50 years of career has explored different currents, always obtaining the acclaim of critics and collectors. Moreover, for Fran, art crosses the border of the craft and also that of passion to assume an existential role. “I have lived with art since childhood. Through art I am able to express my thoughts, my worries, my visions, in short, everything I am.

No matter the category in which art is declined, I can dedicate myself to the joys of drawing, painting, engraving, sculpture by expressing through these forms, which I translate into my most profound thoughts and feelings. With a very forced synthesis, it can be said that Fran Bull's career is articulated in two main periods, that of photorealism and subsequently neo-abstract expressionism. In this current, it has established itself to the point of being called today "Neo-abstract expressionism Queen".

Present in the most important museums in the world such as the Moma (Museum of modern art) in New York, the Guilin museum (in the Chinese city of the same name) and the Bo Alveryd in Malmo (Sweden), Fran has been very active in Italy for three years . It boasts two solo shows, respectively at the Loa (open art laboratory) and at the Fabbrica del Vapore in Milan, and a personal exhibition at Palazzo Zenobio, Armenia Pavilion of the Venice Biennale 2017.

Furthermore, in the last two years, his works are present in two museums of contemporary art, respectively in Ceglie Messapica and Frosinone. Among the critics who most closely follow the New York artist in Italy, a special place is occupied by Giorgio Gregorio Grasso, curator of the Armenia Pavilion of the 2017 Biennale (as well as of the Italy Biennale 2011 Pavilion) who, in fact, wanted to host Palazzo Zenobio.

Like all the artists who have achieved a consecration on the market, Fran Bull has also created an archive of his works that collects 1,200 works including drawings, paintings, sculptures, installations and graphics. Now it is renewing this archive to make it more easily accessible to the public and professionals.
