In October and November of 2016, I worked in the fascinating etching studio, Taller 46, in Barcelona, with master printer Virgili Barbarà. Here you see some of my copperplate etchings, still in process, made during this inspiring time. They relate to the sculpture I am making now in my studio in Vermont. I very much like the little guy coming out of the box--a recurring image in my work. He represents many human qualities, some admirable and some a little problematic!
