WE'RE ALL AT A PARTY CALLED LIFE ON EARTH

The pandemic brought home to us, concretely
and irrefutably, the certainty that we human
beings are all connected and our lives
intertwined.

In this installation, we imagine that planet Earth
has thrown a party to which all Beings are
invited. We follow the metaphor to wherever it
takes us.

Our protagonists celebrate their citizenship of
Earth. They celebrate the beauty of the world.
In this, they (and we) dream that all Beings live
in harmony and peace.

We envision an Earthly celebration–a cocktail
party, a dance party, a singing party, a talking

party, a sitting and thinking party– that never
ends.

We assembled characters inspired by
Commedia Dell'arte, Carnival, Boardwalk,
Circus. We learned from the polychromed
sculpture of the ancient Greeks and even
borrowed from Shakespeare's Fools.

We are Geppetto, Dr. Frankenstein, Walt
Disney, the Macy's Parade!

This motley array of guests represents
Humankind in all its great diversity.
